Watched my first Mark Potts movie: Spaghettiman

The title character has superpowers due to supernatural spaghetti.
They were going for weird here but just having a superhero with an odd superpower isn't near enough.
"Ichi The Killer" it ain't.

First time watching a Wuhan comedy film: So Lucky

film is set in Wuhan and entire cast is from Wuhan
final chase sequence set on bridge over the Yangtze (probably the same one I walked over in 2012)
made very much in the Hong Kong style

First ever walk in Eagle Mountain Park

This park is in Coquitlam.
I've often walked in the park on the east side of Parkway Boulevard (Ridge Park).
But this is the first time into the park on the west side (Eagle Mountain Park).

First time cashing in a tournament but getting paid only 20 cents!

And they rub it in with that sarcastic "Congratulations!" comment

.

I watch my first Japanese "western"

I thought the Japanese had samurai movies instead of westerns.
It looks like they made a few westerns as well.
This one was "Drifting Detective: Tragedy in the Red Valley" starring Sonny Chiba.
Excellent direction by Kinji Fukasaku (who would have his biggest hit 40 years later with "Battle Royale").
Usual crappy plot about evil man (and his gang of ruffians) trying to take over someone's ranch (in this case, a dairy farm). But then along comes a stranger who saves the day only to ride off into the sunset after the ranch is saved leaving behind all the female cast members who are all crazy about him.
