Hey, another stinker. Last night it was King Vidor and tonight Jacques Tourneur. Both excellent directors but I guess sometimes you just need to put bread on the table.
This was a pretty dull affair until the end. The payoff: we learn that to keep a wife in line you need to slap her around a bit. Oh, I see.
