Movie #2360: Paradise Alley (1962, Hugo Haas)
Hugo Haas certainly made oddball movies. In this one he plays an old-time silent movie director who decides to make a fake movie in which people in his neighbourhood would be forced to say nice things to one another and thus get rid of all the animosity that is poisoning the neighbourhood.
Only thing wrong is that this was recorded off of a TV broadcast and so the picture quality is terrible.
Lots of long forgotten silent stars have parts in this one.
