Walk km 15,329-15,331: running errands
Movie #2416: La Poison (1951, Sacha Guitry)
Very clever. However, it's hard to laugh about murder. Michel Simon is thinking about murdering his wife so he goes to a defense lawyer before the murder (claiming the murder had already been committed) in order to pump him for information on what would be the best way to proceed.
This movie is so dialogue heavy that it took away from the film. I hardly had a chance to glance at the film as I was kept busy reading the sub-titles.
Interesting idea of having the director walk around the set to thank everyone who worked on the film in lieu of credits. Too bad that never caught on.
