Movie #2487: Blank City (2010, Celine Danhier)
Interesting documentary about the independant movie makers in New York City in the late 70s/early 80s. It's interesting that I've heard of almost all these people but I've seen almost none of their movies. These movies went arm-in-arm with the music scene that was going on at the same time so that musicians like Debbie Harry, Lydia Lunch and John Lurie were recruited as actors. I should probably look to see if any of these movies are on the internet.
