First movie I've seen that starred Kate Manx: Private Property

This was Kate Manx's first movie role.
The film was directed by her husband, Leslie Stevens.
She appeared in only 2 movies (both directed by her husband).
Four years after this movie was made she committed suicide.
This movie was thought to be lost. It was restored at UCLA.
I rated it 80/100 (creepy factor is through the roof!).

First book read by Inger Frimansson: The Cat Did Not Die

Everybody in Sweden writes crime fiction. Here's another one.
There's some plot in the first few pages and in the last few.
The rest is "atmosphere".
Nice try but Inger is just not able to hold it together that long.

First movie that I've seen 6 times: Susan Slept Here

Almost a holiday tradition at the Dave Spencer household.
Not too sappy - just bright and breezy - perfect Christmas fare.

First time seeing "Plunder Road" on the big screen

And by "big screen" I mean my 24 inch computer monitor.
The first time I saw it was on my laptop because this movie used to be available only on Netflix USA.
Canadian Netflix did not have it.
Canadian Netflix did not have any of the great 1950 noir/JD movies that Netflix USA had.
And now these movies are no longer available on Netflix USA.
They've been removed and replaced by more family oriented trash.
Watch Plunder Road - available from Amazon
