First book read by an author born in Azerbaijan: Winter Is Coming (Garry Kasparov)
Also the first book read by an author who was a world chess champion.
Kinda interesting as Garry is neither left wing nor right wing. Left wing on what he wants but right wing on how to achieve what he wants.
