Movie rewatch: The Big Clock (1948, John Farrow)
It's been about 40 years since I saw this one. The only thing I remember is that I was a little disappointed by it. It looks like the reason was Elsa Lanchester. The movie is a film-noir except Elsa keeps popping up and doing comedy routines. I probably thought that that ruined the film but today it just makes the whole thing a rather odd mix. A mix that's not unpleaseant.
