Book #435: A Bridge To The Stars (1990, Henning Mankell)
So, where's the murder? The library had this one filed in with the adult books but it turns out to be a children's book. Our lead character, Joel, isn't murdered nor does he murder anyone else. He just has 12 year old type adventures that turn out to be just plain heartwarming.
Since this was written in 1990, it must have come before all those nasty murders took over Henning's mind.
