Movie #1387 (#202 this year): Son Of Paleface(Frank Tashlin, 1952)
This must have been quite a treat for folks back in 1952. I don't think they would have seen anything quite like it. Frank Tashlin throws everything but the kitchen sink at this one. Bright colours abound and there are endless sight gags. It's a live-action cartoon.
A few too many songs though. And Bob Hope tries his best to be Jerry Lewis but it would have been smarter just to use the real Jerry Lewis.
