Movie #1407 (#211 this year): The Lady From Shanghai(1948, Orson Welles)
Another movie from Crackle. Not the greatest movie ever made since there is no higher objective here than to create an entertainment. There is no enlightenment. But as an entertainment, this is pretty much perfection. Mr Welles appears to have been light years ahead of any other director working at that time.
